Gamma Psi Tailgate Fundraiser 2017 Homecoming
Greetings Brothers,
Many of us celebrated 50 years of success of the Gamma Psi Chapter in year 2000 as we reflected upon the many achievements of our dear chapter at Grambling State University. We have fond memories of Dr. Joseph B. Johnson leading the way as our University’s President from 1977 to 1991.
Dr. Joseph B. Johnson was the first brother of the Gamma Psi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated to lead Grambling State University as President. Last year, July 26th marked the beginning of Richard J. Gallot, Esq. as the second Gamma Psi Brother to lead the way as President.
Like President Johnson, President Gallot now stands on the shoulders of leaders who laid a foundation before him. We are excited for President Gallot and want to help him succeed by showing our support in a tangible, monetary way.
Over 400 Brothers have come through the pledge or intake process of Gamma Psi and we have all have directly benefitted from the Fraternity and the University in many ways. Now it’s time to reach in our pockets and give back in support of our beloved Grambling and our Dear Brother, President Gallot.
We are asking for all Gamma Psi Brothers to make plans to attend Homecoming 2017. For Homecoming, we have made plans to host a Gamma Psi Alumni Tailgate and to collect donations in support of the Gallot Administration as he leads our alma mater (our mother) as President.
We have a goal of contributing $50,000 by Homecoming to support the GSU Million Dollar Initiative. Each brother on every line is being challenged to give a minimum of $50 or more.
Brothers, get your money ready, it’s time to Support. It’s time to Give Back!!!
